Sweet Peas is a Day Care & Teaching Nursery with a culture that believes in nurturing and growing a stimulating and enjoyable high quality education through play, care and love. Our nursery is purposely designed to allow for a fun learning environment for babies and children up to the age of 5. We promote care and respect and focus on developing social skills and learning in a home from home environment.

We have recently expanded and our waiting list has driven us to recruit Child Care Practitioners to join our passionate team.

Your key responsibilities will be to provide a stimulating environment that fosters play with purpose and meets the needs of each and every child. You will be compliant with all legal obligations and Sweet Peas Policies, Procedures and ensure that systems of observation and record keeping are accurate. You will be required to attend training sessions and meetings to further the development of the nursery. You will ensure that we build solid trusting relationships between parents, carers, children and the nursery team.

Essential Qualifications

Cache Level 3, BTEC Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Children’s Care Learning and Development

Salary package on offer depending on experience

Normal hours are 37 hours per week over 4 days with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. We also offer subsided lunches, free parking, The Peoples Pension scheme and a Health assured – Employee assistance programme.
